Hippo And The Duck

The baby hippo had a bad habit. Submerged in the water, he'd make sudden appearances, startling the ducks and other small creatures living in the pond. The ducks, quite distressed, told the hippo to behave properly, explaining that his actions were causing them much heartache. But the baby hippo didn't listen to them and continued his mischievous behavior until it happened.

One day, when the baby hippo came to the pond, he found there is no water in the pond. 'Hey, where are the waters gone?" he asked the ducks. This because of duck's curse upon you, the water disappeared," said the duck. The baby hippo became sad. How his bad behaviour caused the water to disappear. He pledged that day that he will not ruin other's peace of mind. He prayed to God to fill the pond with water again.

In that evening there was a heavy rain, and the pond was filled with water. The baby hippo was happy, the ducks also became happy. From that day onwards, the baby hippo behaved properly.
