Jingo, the elephant saves the lives of small animals like deer, and rabbits from their predators. Today, Jingo did a great job. He saw a cheetah preparing to catch a deer. What did Jingo do? He alerted the deer to run. The deer ran away, and the cheetah didn’t find him where he hid.
Where did the deer go hiding? The deer found a safe hiding place, just behind Jingo. If the deer had not found that hiding place, the fast cheetah could have caught the deer easily. Because a cheetah runs so fast, sometimes even overtaking a speeding car.
“You are doing a marvelous job, Jingo. If you were not here, I would have become the lunch of that cheetah,” said the deer.
Jingo was happy that he could save one more animal’s life. He thanked God.
