The Little Fox Who Dreamed Big

looking down from the cliff made the little fox happy
Wow, look how small these elephants are!

Foxy the little fox had a huge dream. More than anything, he wanted to be as big and grand as an elephant!

"Mom," Foxy whined one sunny morning, "Why am I so little? I wish I could be big like an elephant!"

His mother, a wise and clever fox, just smiled. "Well, little one," she said, her eyes twinkling, "if you want to see big things, let's go to the top of the big cliff! I can help you see things differently."

Climbing that cliff was tough! It was steep, and Foxy’s little legs had to pump hard. Puff, puff, pant, pant! But the fox mother encouraged him every step of the way until—whoosh!—they made it to the very tippy-top!

The world spread out below them like a giant, green carpet.

"Okay, Foxy," Mom Fox said gently, "look down there, across the meadow."

Foxy peered over the edge. And guess what he saw? A whole herd of elephants! But from way up high, they looked like tiny, gray toy blocks scattered in the grass!

Foxy's jaw dropped, then stretched into the biggest grin you ever saw. He jumped up and down, cheering!

"Yippee! Mom! Mom! Look! I'm bigger than the elephants!" he shouted, because from up on the cliff, he felt like he was towering over everything!

The mother fox chuckled and nuzzled his soft head. She knew that being big wasn't just about how tall you are; sometimes, it's about how high you can see!

What do you think Foxy and his mom did after coming down from the cliff?
