Fleeing Bunny

Vroom, vroom! went the little blue car as it zoomed down the bumpy dirt road!

The little brown bunny was driving as fast as his paws could push the gas pedal. His long, furry ears were blowing way back in the wind, and his big brown suitcase was bouncing up and down in the backseat. Thump, thump, thump!

Why was he in such a big, giant hurry?

Well, look over there on the green hill! A big, fluffy lion with a huge, dark mane was watching him. The bunny thought the lion was going to say, "ROAR! I'm going to catch you!"

But do you want to know a secret? The lion wasn't mean at all. He was actually a very gentle lion who just wanted to say, "Hello, friend! Can I have a ride in your cool blue car?" But because the lion was so big and loud, the bunny got a little scared.

The bunny is speeding away past the tall trees and under the bright, smiling sun. The silly lion is just standing there looking very confused, thinking, "Oh dear, where is my new friend going so fast?"
