Elephant And The Hippo

The elephant drinking water from the pond was shocked by a sudden burst of water. A huge creature came out of the water. 

The huge creature that came out of the water was a hippo. The elephant was seeing the hippo for the first time in its life. The frightened elephant was shocked to see the hippo and turned its back to run.

“Hey, bro. Don’t be frightened. It’s me, your friend, a hippo. We hippos live in water. Without water, we will die. The water in my territory is all dried up. I was searching for a pond like this. Luckily I found water in this pond. I know it’s an elephant terrirtory. With your permission shall I live here?” asked the hippo.

After the initial shock was over, the elephant was calm.

“Hello, friend, glad to meet you. You came to the right place. Water in this pond will never dry. You can live here as long as you wish. Welcome to our territory,” the elephant said. 

The elephant introduced each elephant in his community to the hippo. The hippo was happy.
