Chasing An Easy Prey, Lion And The Deer Story

The lion was roaming around looking for his lunch. He spotted a young deer. "Wow, this deer is going to be my lunch today," the lion said to himself. He slowly approached the deer. The lion was so near the deer. It was an easy prey for the lion. But the lion decided to let the deer go. Because he wanted to chase the deer and hunt the deer down, just for an adventure.

The deer sensing the lion near started running. The lion started chasing the deer. But something unexpected happened. The lion put its leg on a sharp stone. "Ouch, it hurts," the lion stoppped the chase. He couldn't even walk. He cursed the sharp stone on the way. After taking some rest, he was relieved from the pain.

The lion, feeling a bit silly for not just eating the deer when he had the chance, hobbled back home with a sore paw and an empty tum-tum. The little deer, on the other hand, bounded far away, happy to be safe and sound. It learned that day that it's always good to be quick on your feet! And the lion learned that sometimes, the easiest way is the best way, and even a little stone can cause a big problem!
