Crocodile Egg And Her Newborn

Upon returning from a quick visit to her neighbor, Mother Crocodile glanced down at her nest, only to find her egg cracked wide open.

Her heart dropped, quickly giving way to a burst of anger. "Who broke my egg?!" she roared, her jaw open wide in frustration as she looked around the green riverbank.

Just then, a slight rustling in a nearby bush caught her attention. She crept closer and gasped—wiggling through the leaves was a tiny, newborn crocodile looking up at her. Realizing her baby had simply hatched on its own, her anger instantly melted away into a warm, wide smile of pure joy.
