The Tiger's Big Oops!

The big, striped tiger was stalking a tall, graceful giraffe. "Lunchtime!" he thought, licking his chops.

He made a huge leap, but the clever giraffe was ready! Just before the tiger could even touch him, the giraffe swung his long, powerful back leg.

The Smart Kick

The kick was so strong it was like being hit by a freight train! The tiger didn't just stumble—he went WEEE! flying high into the air like a striped rocket! He tumbled and spun before landing with a painful WHUMP! right onto a hard, bumpy rock.

The tiger didn't feel tough anymore. He grabbed his sore bottom and let out a big, sad, whimpering cry.

"Ow, ow, OW!" he moaned.

He scampered away as fast as his four legs could carry him, with a brand-new rule in his head:

I will never try to sneak up on a giraffe again! They are way too tough!
