Bear And The Bird

A bear saw a bird coming down fast from the sky. "Oh, something happened to that poor guy. I must rescue him," the bear rushed to the bird. The bear spread its hand, and the bird fell into its palm.

Hey, what happened to you, dear? I saw you coming down fast from the sky. That's why I cam running to rescue you, said the bear. Thanks a lot, dear friend. I developed a snag on my wings, which forced me to come down. Can you give some assistance? I fear the cats. If they see me, I won't be spared. Please be my bodyguard until I'm able to fly," said the bird.

"With pleasure, my dear friend," said the bear. The bear stood beside the bird to protect it from other predators. After taking a few minutes of rest, the bird tried to fly. This time, he was ok and was on the air. "Thank you, dear friend, for saving my life. As a token of appreciation, I'll show you a tree where a huge honeycomb is hanging. Just follow me," said the bird.

The bear followed the bird and found the high tree having a huge honeycomb hanging. The bear climbed the tree and grabbed the honeycomb. The honey tasted excellent. The bear thanked the bird who showed him the honeycomb and went home to share the honey with its family.
