You know how much fun it is to dream? You can imagine becoming an astronaut, a famous artist, a super-cool chef, or a brilliant scientist! That big, exciting thing you want to do or be when you grow up—that's your dream.
It's important to know there are two ways to dream:
An Action Dreamer is someone who has a big dream and then says, "Okay, what do I need to do today to get a little bit closer?"
Action Dreaming is like having a map to a treasure chest. You need to read the map and walk the steps to find the treasure! This kind of dreaming makes you creative and smart because you're always figuring things out and learning new skills.
A Daydreamer is someone who spends all their time just thinking about the cool thing they want to do—but they never start working on it. They just think: "It would be so cool to have a treehouse..." but they never grab the wood or the hammer.
Daydreaming can feel good for a little while, but if it's all you do, it starts to make you lazy. It kills your creativity because your brain gets used to just thinking instead of doing and solving problems.
Here is the secret rule:
A dream without a plan is just a wish.
Here's how you turn your big wishes into real goals:
Remember, every great building started with a single brick. Be an Action Dreamer, not a Daydreamer!
What is your dream?
