A Nutty Adevnture

A little kitten was lapping up some milk when he saw something flash down from the big oak tree. Being a curious kitten, he scampered over to investigate the mystery.

To his surprise, it was a little squirrel! The kitten watched closely as the squirrel scooped up a big acorn.

"Hey there! What are you doing?" the kitten asked.

"Oh, just grabbing this acorn for breakfast!" the squirrel chirped.

In the blink of an eye, the squirrel zipped right back up the trunk. The kitten watched in total awe. "Wow, you are a fast climber!" he called up.

"Thanks for the compliment!" the squirrel shouted down. "Watch this—I can even 'fly' from tree to tree without any wings!"

With a mighty leap, the squirrel launched into the air and sailed perfectly onto the next branch.

"Awesome!" the kitten cheered. "You should join the circus!"

The squirrel just laughed and waved a furry paw.
