A Close Encounter

It was a dangerously close encounter. A tiny sea turtle was practicing his swimming when he suddenly found himself directly in the path of a massive blue whale. Turning around to swim away was impossible—he was far too slow to outrun the giant. Frozen in place, he held his breath as the shadow loomed over him.

Instead of swallowing him whole, the blue whale offered a gentle smile, turned around, and calmly glided away into the deep blue. The little turtle let out a huge sigh of relief.
