Musings of an Indian Elephant

I am an Indian Elephant. After a long day, I am now tied to a coconut tree. The coconut tree I am tied to is my home.

I love to eat bananas. Every one knows elephant loves bananas. So people come to see me with bananas in their hands. I enjoy eating the sweet bananas all the time.  I also eat the coconut leaves.

People love to meet me. Often come here to see me, especially kids. I love kids because they are very lovely and smiling always. I enjoy kids trying to imitate me.

I was brought here when I was young with my mother. She told me that we are captivated by the forest, and trained. My mother misses our forest home very much. But I don’t remember those days, because I was very young then.
