Monkey And Elephant Friends

One day, the elephant saw a baby monkey crying non-stop.

“Hey, dear, why are you crying?” asked the elephant. “I have no friends. Nobody wants to befriend me. They say I am not smart enough to become their friend,” the monkey said.

“Don’t worry, baby. I will be your friend. Will that be ok?” said the elephant.

The baby monkey was happy with that. It’s not a small thing to get an elephant friend. The elephant asked the monkey to sit on him. He took the monkey for a tour around. The elephant took great care of his best friend.

When other monkeys saw the baby monkey traveling on an elephant, they wanted to become the baby monkey’s friend. The friendship with the elephant gained many new friends for the baby monkey, and he became famous in the neighborhood.
