Helping The Weeping Boy

Walking through the woods, an elephant heard somebody crying. On checking, he saw a weeping monkey boy.

“Hey, boy, why are you weeping? Can I do anything to make you happy,” asked the concerned elephant.

“I am so sad because nobody wants to become my friend. They all are avoiding me without telling me any reason. I can’t take it anymore,” said the monkey boy, weeping.

“My son is not eating anything. Look at him. He has become so thin,” the monkey’s mother, sitting besides him, said to the elephant.

“Don’t worry, baby, I am here to befriend you. Let’s be friends. Come and sit upon me. Let’s go for a walk,” said the elephant.

The monkey stopped weeping and climbed on the elephant’s back. The elephant started walking. It was a new experience for the monkey boy. He clapped his hands, enjoying the ride. They reached a place where plenty of bananas were growing. Monkey Boy had a feast on those sweet bananas.

When other monkeys saw the monkey boy riding proudly on the elephant, they wanted to befriend the monkey boy. He became so popular and became a hero.
