Fox And The Lion

The fox, who was roaming around happened to meet a lion. It was the first time, the young fox was seeing a lion.

“Hi, chap. What about a dinner together?” the young fox asked.

The lion was in shock. It was the first time a fox stood before him boldly and invited the lion for dinner.

“Sure, I will come,” said the lion.

Back at home, the fox declared to his father and mother that one of his friends was coming for dinner. They thought it was another fox their son had invited for the dinner.

It was night. The lion appeared. The fox’s parents were afraid of a lion and started running.

“Don’t worry. I am here to eat dinner with you foxes tonight,” said the lion.

The young fox was happy that his friend had come for the dinner.

“Hey, why didn’t you tell us your friend is a lion? Now we are in a big problem. We don’t have anything for the lion to eat,” the fox’s mother whispered in his ears.

“Don’t worry, mom. I have a plan,” said the fox.

The young fox asked the lion to come inside the home and sit.

“Hey, let’s play something,” said the fox.

“Oh, sure,” said the lion.

The fox brought a chessboard. Both the animals started playing. The fox was intelligent. His every move shocked the lion. Finally, the lion lost the game.

“Hey, I am in a hurry. Let me go home,” said the lion.

“Hey, what about the dinner?” asked the fox.

“I will come again. Now it’s urgent. I have to be at home,” said the lion, and he ran home. In fact, the lion was so ashamed that he lost the game with the fox.
