Tom Cat And Elephant Challenge

The cats were in a holiday mood. They all assembled under a tree for a little chit-chat.

“Hey, Tom, Do you think you are the smartest cat?” asked one of the cats.

“Yes, I am, said Tom, the cat.

“Then accept this challenge. Can you ride on an elephant?” the other cats challenged Tom.

“Sure, please wait for the elephant to come,” Tom said. Other cats anxiously waited to see how Tom would ride on an elephant.

After waiting a few minutes, the cats saw the elephant coming. It was walking with heavy footsteps to drink water from the nearby river. Tom immediately climbed upon a tree. When the elephant passed under the tree, Tom jumped and landed safely on the elephant’s back. The elephant didn’t even know that a cat was on its back. The cat had a free ride on the elephant. Other cats were struck with fear.

After drinking water from the river, the elephant returned. On the way back, Tom jumped into the tree under which all his friends were waiting for Tom. The elephant walked away without knowing that Tom had a free ride on his back.

Other cats welcomed Tom. “Now we know you are the smartest cat among us,” they all said in one voice. Tom was happy to prove himself before his friends.
