Duck Story

oiling duck
Let me oil myself

Oiling Duck

“Hey, ducky, what are you doing? I can see that you are doing this everytime you get to the shore” asked the curious crab.

“Can’t you see? I’m oiling myself. My feathers need to stay oily to makes sure that I keep myself afloat on the water,” said the duck.

The duck oil herself thoroughly to make sure that she can smoothly sail away in the lake. Every now and then she comes to the shore to make sure that all her feathers are oiled in plenty with her beak so that she doesn’t have to struggle in the water.
